Signing in keeps you signed in on that browser until you sign out (menu under your name → Log out). Each browser or device is its own sign-in.

Lost a device, or used a shared computer? Change your password from Settings → Profile: every other sign-in ends the moment the new password is set. Turning on two-factor authentication stops a password alone from being enough.
