Paraphrased from our privacy policy, which has the details and the few exceptions.
What we do with your writing: nothing

No ads, no tracking
No advertising, no third-party scripts that follow you around the web, and visit counts that use no cookie. Members pay for Solvance, not their data.

Who can read what I write?
You, and no one else using Solvance. What you write is encrypted before it's saved, and we don't sell your data, show you ads, or use your writing to train AI. You can download everything, or delete your account, whenever you like.
How your writing is protectedIs it end-to-end encrypted?
No, and we'd rather say so plainly. Solvance holds the key, kept apart from the database, so a copy of the database or a backup on its own can't be read. Practice and tag names, slider values and session times aren't separately encrypted, because Insights counts and charts them.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It's yours to take. Settings → Data & Account downloads everything, with your writing decrypted so it's readable. When you're done, Delete my account permanently deletes everything you wrote. A few records, like receipts and records of your consents, stay for a set time, as the Privacy policy explains.
Export your dataWhat does it cost?
Free covers the Timer, Journal, Daily Log, Notebook and Intentions, with up to 5 practice types, feelings and Day tags, and 3 activities, plus the heatmap, streaks and milestones. Advance opens every Insights tab and removes the limits, for $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, plus tax where it applies. Every new account starts with 14 days of Advance, with no card needed; afterwards you stay on Free unless you choose to upgrade.
